Coaching as a strategic intervention in a global healthcare distribution business.

The group's strategy of rapid growth and expansion exposed its traditional culture, based on high levels of managerial control, because it was not creating the flexibility and nimbleness necessary for the rapid integration of newly acquired businesses. They approached FGC for a programme that would shift how their managers worked within an expanding cadre of international colleagues.

Working closely with those leading this change, FGC developed a bespoke coaching programme to rapidly build a shared set of skills and values based on effective dialogue across cultural boundaries. Using a specially designed coaching framework leaders from across the globe blended on-the-job practice with workshops, readings and peer skills practice to rapidly build the necessary new behaviours.
